With the team works and with lots of captaining plus precise lines call, we made it and have the Hong Kong Flag flying in Beijing with glory.

  TUESDAYS

So Kon Po is CLOSED for a few weeks.   

THURSDAYS

We have started  disc at 9pm on Thursday nights at Tai Hang Tung.   This will continue as long as demand justifies the expense, so keep coming.  This is primarily intended for casual pick-up although one half of the field may occasionally be used for Competitive Programme, new player coaching, extra league team practice or re-scheduled League games if necessary. 

Visitors and new players are welcome on Thursdays and Sundays - Non- members fee is $50 ($20 for students).

PLEASE BRING BOTH RED & WHITE SHIRTS.       

WEEKENDS 

Occasional beach Ultimate outings will be arranged, usually on Saturdays -  stay tuned for details - Beach Ultimate is FREE and all are welcome.

Sundays will be at Tai Hang Tung from 3pm to 6pm as usual.  PLEASE BRING BOTH RED & WHITE SHIRTS to play in (not dark & white) - this will help to improve our image and standing as a club and as a sport.  We are having trouble booking the fields because the management doesn't think we are playing a real sport or are anything more than an informal gathering of people playing "catch".  If we look more organised, then this will create a better image, and maybe we'll get a bit more consideration from the management at the fields (and maybe people will stop walking across the fields during our games). Your efforts in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

HAT TOURNAMENT

HKUPA  hosted a hat tournament on April 11^th as part of the 52^nd HK Festival of sport. It was great.  Here are some photos.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Annual Fees will remain HK$500 (HK$250 for students)

As we are half-way through the year , new members pay HK$250 (HK$120) for the remainder of 2009.

BEACH HAT 

There will be a beach hat tournament in Early September.  Details will follow soon.  We need a few volunteers to organize this event - If you want to help, please send an e-mail to alex.chapman@hkupa.com

We will assemble a large team, each person contributing a small task that they are well suited to; so please don't hesitate to get involved.  New members are particularly encouraged.
