This is the moment you've been waiting for, the chance to make good on your new
year's resolution and play more ultimate in the new millennium. What better way to kick off the new year / decade / century than a weekend of disc with your best mates in ... BANGKOK.

The first annual Bangkok hAt tournament & team party February 24-25, 2001

I know, you're scratching your heads trying to figure out what that means - here's the deal. On the field it's a hAt tourney and off the field it's national teams vying for the party trophy. Basically, it's the best of both worlds - Kate Linebaugh, choose your allegiance carefully!

The details to date:
The fields are confirmed and are easily accessible by the mighty Bangkok Skytrain.

Our most senior dawg (experience that is), Rick 'I love layouts' Stuit, will handle the selection of teams (get your bribes in early, he's got a wedding to pay for!). Hotels are being priced - you might even get a five star property! A webmaster has been commissioned to help me transform our pathetic webpage into something more fun and informative.

The best ultimate party you've ever seen is being planned by none other than the Chairman of Parties, Del "party dawg" Levin. And yes, there will be a BIG ass party trophy in addition to the playing trophies, spirit awards, etc.

Tourney fee will be announced soon, as will the host hotel and the player ranking system so we can put the teams together. For now, all I need you to do is get your players excited and get me any early numbers you have (so I can lock that budget down).

I look forward to bringing you more good news and details very soon! You've asked for it, now you got it, the chance to bark and play like a dawg.
