1998 Ultimate Frisbee Weekend Challenge
Phuket, Thailand
April 25-26The 1998 Ultimate Frisbee Weekend Challenge took place on April 25th and 26th on the beautiful island of Phuket. this was Hong Kong's first ever entry into the tournament as a team, but we made a strong showing.
VENUE - The tournament took place on a fantastic shady, grass field belonging the Andaman Beach Suites and the Club Andaman Beach Resort, the official hotel of the 1998 Ultimate Frisbee Weekend Challenge, conveniently located in Patong less the one block from Patong Beach.
PARTICIPANTS - Teams from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand attended this years tournament. Local Phuket teams and individual players of all levels also joined the fun.

The Hong Kong squad, sporting the official ultimate version of the SAR flag readies for action in this 5-on-5 tourney. Water was the order of the day as temperatures rose to the high 30s.
